Mike Truman

Mike Truman LLB FCA CTA (Fellow) MSFA is currently the editor of Taxation magazine which is published by LexisNexis Tolley. Prior to this appointment in 2004 he was a tax consultant and independent financial adviser. He has lectured and written on many taxation subjects since 1991 and brings a wealth of practical experience to his speaking engagements.

Mike became a fellow of The Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1996 with his prize-winning thesis entitled "Residence, 150 Years of Misinterpretation."

Mike's published works include the Small Business Adviser's Toolkit - Taxation, Taxbriefs Holistic Financial Planning manual, Tax partner Digest and Teach Yourself Basic Accounting.

Mike has appeared on the video-based training programme for accountants The Accountancy Channel since 1994 and was an expert contributor to Meridian Television's programme Quids In.
